Facebook Live Discussion: Traumatic Events: Building Resiliency and Support Systems in the Emergency
When:
May 18, 2022 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)
Routine exposure to traumatic events can have long-lasting consequences on the wellbeing of emergency responders. Building resiliency and support systems into the department culture can help to mitigate these impacts and better assist responders in need. Join Richard Brown, NVFC director from California; Ali Rothrock, CEO and lead instructor of On the Job and Off; Hersch Wilson, author, speaker, and consultant; and Jared Meeker, former fire chief at the Lake Shore Fire Department (Rochester, NY) and 30 plus-year fire service veteran, for a Facebook Live discussion on May 18 at 2pm ET on ways to integrate resiliency and support systems into your department. Registration is not required and the discussion will be streamed to the NVFC’s Facebook page. Can't join on Facebook? Watch on
